The goal of the Mac Networkers Retreat is to bring a group of Mac IT professionals together, away from the hustle and bustle of a big city, large convention center, and busy hotels to a more relaxed setting away from the crowds; a setting conducive to clearing your mind and being open to learning and new ideas; a setting that encourages social networking and group problem-solving in a venue that stimulates thought and creativity.   You will be able to participate in three intensive days of training, workshops, lectures, and informal discussion groups all focused on the state of the art in Apple network and IT technology.   You will return to your 'real-world' job better equipped to handle the daily challenges you face.

LECTURES
The Retreat will begin by diving right into a series of lectures on various topics with practical advice and direction on a host of key topic areas. No pie in the sky theory here - these sessions get right to the meat of the matter and present the hardcore technical assessment information that you need to understand to better accomplish you job.

BREAKOUTS
The Mac Networkers Retreat is an immersive meeting experience - we cram as much as we can into your time with us, so the education doesn't stop when the sun goes down! Join us after dinner for our evening discussion group series. You'll select from a variety of topics ranging from Network Management, Enterprise Mobility, Enterprise Applications, Security and many others! These informal gatherings give you the opportunity to ask questions of the experts and to trade tips and techniques with other attendees who are implementing solutions similar to yours and may have already solved that nagging problem you've been wrestling with! It's where social networking meets computer networking. See the Conference Agenda for a complete listing.

TWO DAY WORKSHOPS
You can choose from one of the five workshops being offered for Tuesday and Wednesday. The workshops are designed as two-day courses, and the material being covered will build throughout the course of the class. We encourage attendees not to change from class to class, however, if you find that the selection you made in advance does not meet your needs, you may move to another class on a space available basis.
